The province has once again ignored pleas for multi-year funding for CBOs, say unions representing the workers in those groups.

As most CBOs receive as much as three-quarters of operational funding from the province, she said they are left to provide the remaining dollars themselves through tactics like private fundraising or seeking grants.Article content Cape said not knowing what future funding may look like leaves organizations in perpetual uncertainty about what programs they can offer.
She said all three unions have been lobbying on this for nearly a decade, with little ink to paper seen from provincial or federal officials, including current Finance Minister Donna Harpauer, who was formerly social services minister.
