Gerrit Cole’s scoreless streak ended at 25 ²/₃ innings, but the Yankees ace still recovered in time to pick up another win.
Cole gave up a pair of runs in the sixth inning against the Rangers, but limited the damage and kept the Yankees’ lead intact for“[My confidence] comes from my teammates,” Cole said. “It comes from my preparation.
