Here's our review of Xiaomi's top contender in the premium Android segment, the Xiaomi 12 Pro.
Good audio and haptic experienceBattery life could be betterFrom a design standpoint, the Xiaomi 12 Pro is an impeccable phone. Not only does it feel super-premium, but it also makes a stand by going against the tide of angular-designed phones with flat edges, Xiaomi has decided to take ergonomics into account when designing its latest darling. The result? A phone that’s a pleasure to interact with, especially if you go caseless.
Traditional Xiaomi mainstays like an infrared blaster are present on the Xiaomi 12 Pro, but you won't find a headphone jack, which isn't at all surprising, or a microSD card slot inside the hybrid SIM tray. But hey, at least you get a charger in the box. You also get a basic TPU case that doesn't do this thousand-dollar phone any justice, but is a nice freebie for basic protection.
