Wynn Resorts Ltd. will close its two Las Vegas casinos for two weeks in response to the coronavirus pandemic, the first Strip operator to shut in the public-health crisis.
The company said its Wynn and Encore casinos in Las Vegas would close beginning Tuesday and full-time employees would continue to be paid. Wynn’s only other U.S. casino, Encore Boston Harbor, will also close starting Monday under order from Massachusetts gambling regulators concerned about the spread of Covid-19.
