France issued an international arrest warrant for former Renault chief Carlos Ghosn, alleging he funneled millions of euros from the auto maker, people familiar with the matter say

However, the warrants are another legal blow to Mr. Ghosn’s reputation. He has painted himself as the victim of a Japanese justice system, which he says is unfair and presumes guilt. Japanese officials say he would have had a fair trial if he had remained in Japan. She isn’t a French citizen and could be extradited to Japan if she tries to leave Lebanon, people close to Mr. Ghosn say. Mr. Ghosn can’t be extradited from France to Japan. France, as a rule, doesn’t extradite its citizens and Mr. Ghosn has French citizenship.
