BREAKING: Lord Seb Coe's World Athletics has announced a ban on transgender female athletes competing in the female categories at international events from the end of March onwards.
World Athletics has banned transgender female athletes from competing in the female category at international events.
A working group will now be set up to conduct further research into the transgender eligibility guidelines. ‘Many believe there is insufficient evidence that transwomen do not retain an advantage over biological women and want more evidence that any physical advantages have been ameliorated before they are willing to consider an option for inclusion into the female category.
