An estimated 27 million workers will see their take-home pay increase from April.
Millions of workers will receive a boost in their take-home pay from April 6 when the main rate of class 1 National Insurance deductions will be cut from 10 per cent to 8 per cent. The change follows on from the cut at the start of the new year when NI deductions dropped from 12 per cent to 10 per cent.
