A massive £250m water park with 35 slides, 30 pools and an indoor spa is starting to take shape with work beginning on the exciting new development.
It is not set to open in 2025 but people can get a taste of what to expect thanks to incredible new CGI images which show an eye-popping glass dome covering a tropical paradise. It is hoped Therme Manchester will be a "beacon for the North of England", with the venture being lauded as a "next generation" indoor waterpark.As well as dozens of slides and pools, there will be swim-up bars, saunas and wellness suits.
They also believe that the wellbeing focus of the venue will have save over one million hospital admission days per year. In terms of access, the site already has Metrolink lines running right next to it and the Barton Dock Road stop will be just metres away from the entrance. The Trafford Centre is just over 40 minutes from Huddersfield in the car and less than an hour from Leeds.
He said: "It’s incredibly exciting to see the land being prepared to welcome the resort to TraffordCity and we’re proud to help bring such an amazing attraction to the North West which we know will be enjoyed by so many people across the country whether it’s for a fun family day out, relaxation or educational trips."
