Woody Allen has found a new publisher for his memoir, which had been abruptly dropped by publisher Hachette amid pressure from its employees

Arcade Publishing, an imprint of closely held Skyhorse Publishing Inc., on Monday said it acquired global rights to “Apropos of Nothing,” Mr. Allen’s memoir, and has already published the book.Ms. Schmidt said the publishing house has already received orders from bookstores, although she noted many retailers aren’t operating at full capacity. Arcade is currently making efforts to syndicate the title to foreign publishers.

The staffers had walked out in support of Mr. Allen’s son, Ronan Farrow, who opposed the title’s publication. Mr. Farrow’s sister Dylan Farrow has alleged that Mr. Allen molested her as a child in 1992, and Mr. Farrow expressed his support for her. Jeannette Seaver, the book’s acquiring editor, said Arcade Publishing believes “in upholding the right to Freedom of Speech in the world of publishing and, as a result, we’re pleased to support not only this terrific book but also—and even more importantly—this democratic principle.”
