While accepting an award in front of a bunch of other celebrities, Lizzo let fans know that their votes mean everything to her. “It means everything to making a change in this country,” she said. “So remember, when you’re voting for your favorite artist, vote to change some of these laws that are oppressing us.

Believe it or not, Lizzo is not oppressed. No one is “oppressed” by laws saying that you can’t kill unborn children, and that is especially true for a multimillionaire celebrity who lives in a state that doesn’t have such laws. There are far bigger problems in this country than famous whiny liberals being upset that some people can no longer treat abortion like a casual form of birth control.
