Women's Fund foundation will provide investments to Zora’s House, Eryn PiNK Girl Empowerment and ThriveIN.
“Most women of color who run these really impactful social change organizations don't even do it full-time. is for leadership, vision and capacity-building. It's that courageous nonprofit venture capital that says somebody needs to take a bet on you.”The first grant of $50,000 was made last year to Zora’s House, a co-working space and leadership incubator for women of color, based in Weinland Park and led by LC Johnson.
“I'm super grateful for the Women's Fund,” said Hathaway, 33, of King-Lincoln/Bronzeville, the executive director of Eryn PiNK. “Unrestricted funds help our organization scale the work that we're doing. And it also ensures that we are able to employ the right people.”
