The defending national champions will have to wait until Jan. 2 at Washington State to open the Pac-12 season.
The No. 2 ranked Stanford women’s basketball team announced its Pac-12 opener scheduled for Friday in Seattle has been postponed because of COVID-19 protocols within the Washington program.The Cardinal is now slated to open conference play at Washington State on Jan. 2 in Pullman.
Arizona, which played Stanford in the NCAA Championship game last season and is considered the top challenger for the conference title this season, had its Pac-12 opening weekend wiped out because of virus issues at USC and UCLA.
