witnessed the incident, which occurred outside Chinatown MRT station and near a Bee Cheng Hiang store.He recounted:"The woman was with her husband. I took over and helped to stop the bleeding as I have first-aid training and everyone else was scared of blood."The Singapore Civil Defence Force received a call for assistance near 211 New Bridge Road at around 4.15pm and conveyed one person to Singapore General Hospital, it told Stomp in response to queries.
