The 22-year-old man got out of his vehicle at some point, pulled out a crowbar, and smashed the 27-year-old woman’s passenger side window.
In response, the woman – who is legally armed – pulled out a gun while inside her car and shot the man once in the groin, according to reports.
The woman then drove away to a family member’s house and contacted authorities. She was not injured in the attack. The man also went back into his car and tried to drive himself to the hospital but fell out of the vehicle several blocks away near the intersection of 23rd and Market streets. Authorities transported him to Penn Presbyterian Hospital and he was placed in critical condition.Another woman who was a passenger in the man’s car, fled from the scene, according to reports.Read More:
