Fire crews had to use rescue equipment to free the woman who was trapped in the car
A woman was rushed to hospital after being cut from a flipped over car on a busy road in Stalybridge on Sunday night . Emergency services raced to the scene of the crash, which involved two vehicles, on Wakefield Road .
Firefighters secured the vehicle and gained access, where a trauma technician assessed the woman. She was then cut from the car with specialist rescue equipment and taken to hospital by paramedics. The nature of her condition has not been confirmed.Both cars involved were later taken away from the scene. Emergency services were in attendance for around an hour on Sunday evening, until around 9pm.
