Yasmin had been walking through the city centre when she saw a man unconscious on the street
A Belfast woman who is recovering from an addiction to painkillers came to the aid of a man who had overdosed in the city centre last week.
READ MORE: Belfast city centre residents hit out at 'lack of response' to city's growing drug problemYasmin had access to a naloxone pen, which is used to rapidly reverse overdoses from opioids. “As he was on the phone to the paramedics I told the guy I had the naloxone and asked him to ask them if I was OK to give it to him. I gave it to him and he woke up.
Yasmin had the naloxone pen with her as she is currently on medication which is helping her recover from an addiction to painkillers.
