The woman was shot during Tuesday morning rush hour at the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand Metro station in Paris. Police said officers opened fire after she did not respond to their warnings. They said officers had responded after several train passengers phoned the emergency services and reported that a woman was making threats and that she was wearing a face and head covering.It comes over two weeks after the French-language teacher Dominique Bernard was stabbed to death at a school in the city of Arras in northern France.
