Sarah is searching for an explanation as to what was behind the phenomenon.
Sarah, from Fife , was putting her horses in a field when she looked across the Firth of Forth and spotted a set of lights hovering in the could several miles away. She claims to have seen two blue lights streaking through the atmosphere.
Speaking to our sister title, Edinburgh Live, she said: “I was looking out towards East Lothian from my home in Fife and saw a row of lights that appeared almost above Musselburgh. At first, I was not sure if an event was happening. “It all happened incredibly quickly, it was a flash, then another flash, like lightning but going upwards. It was so weird, it gave me a bit of a shock and I just thought, what is that? It was unlike any strobe lights or anything I’ve ever seen before. I ended up putting the horses away and when I left the yard I noticed three flights flashing.
