Police late Sunday were investigating the death of a woman who allegedly jumped out of a vehicle on the North Freeway during an argument with her boyfriend.
Officers around 9:30 p.m. Sunday responded to reports of a person lying on the freeway, near the intersection with Tarver Road, Sgt. David Rose, of the Houston Police Department, told Metro Video Services reporters.A man told investigators he’d been arguing with his girlfriend while the two were driving back after visiting a bar downtown, Rose said. The woman was in the passenger seat and began trying to jump out the window while he was driving.
