Shocking pictures showed a car crumpled up against the walls of Windsor Castle following the dramatic collision on Tuesday, 12 March
Emergency services rushed to Windsor Castle after a car crash at around 7.50am this morning - and shocking photos showed a Volvo vehicle smashed against the castle walls.
The incident came after a man was arrested by armed police officers at the weekend after crashing his vehicle into the gates of Buckingham Palace. He crashed into the gates of London's Buckingham Palace in Westminster at around 2.30am on March 10, and the Met Police said was then arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and also received medical care at hospital.
Mail Online also reported a passerby as saying: "There was definitely one person in the car and I couldn't tell if there was another - all of a sudden there were people around very quickly. Someone was on the floor being treated but it was a very calm atmosphere. People didn't really know what was going on and some were scared it was something serious."
Her trip out came after the Princess of Wales, who is a very keen photographer, publicly took the blame for a manipulated Mother's Day snap shared by Kensington Palace, and issued a personal apology for the “confusion”.
