Who Are Glinda and Elphaba In Wicked? Wicked revolves around the unlikely friendship between Elphaba, who is framed by The Wizard of Oz and becomes the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda the Good Witch of the South. Throughout the story, the two must navigate challenges arising from their opposing personalities, shared loved interests, and differing reactions to the Wizard's corrupt government.
The Wicked movie, which is directed by Crazy Rich Asians' Jon M. Chu, is adapted to the screen by the writers of the stage musical, Winnie Holzman and Stephen Schwartz.
