The International Space Station will be visible two separate times from locations across the SF Bay Area on Thursday night.

The orbiting research lab appears as a bright star that doesn’t twinkle and moves faster than a typical airplane. It will first become visible around“It will be at its highest point, nearly directly overhead, at 8:29 p.m., and will disappear in the northeastern sky at about 8:31 p.m., when it passes into Earth’s shadow,” McKeegan said.
