West Ham United welcome Everton to the London Stadium on Sunday afternoon
Everton return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they take on West Ham United at the London Stadium.
Everton lost Ashley Young during the opening 45 minutes after he was given his marching orders for two bookable offences. Sean Dyche was then left flabbergasted by referee Craig Pawson’s decision not to send off Ibrahima Konate. The game at the London Stadium kicks off at 1pm, one hour before games that are usually shown live on Sky Sports are normally broadcast. And the ECHO understands the reason behind the tweak is due to the Manchester derby.
As a result of the change, Everton’s trip to the capital to take on the Hammers had to be brought forward to ensure Sky Sports would be able to broadcast both games as scheduled.
