The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs reports at least 37,396 Palestinians have been killed, 85,523 injured, and an estimated 1.7 million displaced, more than half the population. that they believe only 50 of 112 Israeli hostages held by Hamas are still alive.
