The JCVI have said people should get a booster with more details yet to be announced
People who are at a higher risk of developing "severe covid" are being advised to get a booster this spring and autumn.
According to the Gov.uk website following the high uptake rates for the "initial booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine in December 2021, further uptake has been low at less than 0.1 per cent per week since April 2022 in all eligible people under 50 years of age."Similarly, uptake of primary course vaccination, which has been widely available since 2021, has plateaued in recent months across all age groups.
