Everton's remaining opponents have an average of 34.2 points - that's less than Nottingham Forest's, Brentford's, Burnley's, Sheffield United's and Luton Town's
Sean Dyche’s side’s remaining opponents have an average of 34.2 points. The Blues face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday before making the trip to take on Newcastle United at St James’ Park on Tuesday.
Fellow strugglers Burnley, Nottingham Forest and Brentford must all travel to Goodison Park. The Blues have already defeated that trio in the reverse fixtures this season. Sheffield United, who seem destined for relegation, must also visit Merseyside. Forest and Brentford’s upcoming opponents sport an average of 35.4 points, 1.2 points more than the Blues'. Forest, who like Everton, are awaiting a points deduction outcome, host Crystal Palace on Saturday. And like Everton, they then also face two top-six sides, Tottenham Hotspur away on April 7 and Manchester City at home on April 28.
Burnley come next, their future opponents having an average of 35.8 points. That it is 1.6 more than Everton’s. The Clarets head to Chelsea on Saturday and then must also make their way to Manchester United and Tottenham.
