Letter to the Editor: That bright future will be in jeopardy if we allow the corporate billionaires who bankrolled J.D. Vance to buy his Senate seat.
In November, when we choose between Tim Ryan and J.D. Vance to represent Ohio in the U.S. Senate, let’s remember that the outcome will help shape one of two very different futures for Ohio, and all of America.
If we choose Tim Ryan, Democrats might expand their seats in the Senate beyond the current 50-50 split. Then Democrats could: • Finally pass the Women’s Health Protection Act and protect women’s freedom to safe and legal abortion nationwide.• Reward work, lower costs for families and make sure that big corporations and the super-rich pay their fair share of taxes.
But that bright future will be in jeopardy if we allow the corporate billionaires who bankrolled J.D. Vance to buy his Senate seat: We can expect that:• Abortion will be criminalized in more places, and women will die as a result.Which future do you want for Ohio and America?Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
