You may notice an old friend on the menu during your next roll through Whataburger. The popular fast-food chain has brought back Whatachick'n Bites — its take on chicken nuggets — to San Antonio and other select markets for a limited time. Made from chunks of chicken breast that get breaded and fried to a golden crisp, Whatachick'n Bites made their debut in 2012. In their triumphant return, the tender morsels will be available in six- and nine-piece orders served with a side of Texas toast and creamy gravy.A six-piece order sells for $4.89 or can be made into a meal with a medium side of fries and a medium drink for $8.69. A nine-piece order runs $6.59 for the Bites only, or $10.49 as a meal with fries and a drink.
The return of the Whatachick'n Bites follows the February revival of the restaurant's Buffalo Ranch Chicken Strip Sandwich.
