Hakka Kitchen, formerly known as the House of Leaf and Bean, will close its doors on Dec. 18.
A year later, Covid-19 and the pandemic’s aftermath, as well as a challenging labor market that led to consistent turnover among her four full-time and one part-time employee, led to her decision to close her doors. Determined to stay the entrepreneur path, Raiki said she hopes to get some rest and see what doors open after she has recharged.
