Viewers who watched the previous series will not be disappointed as series four hits TV screens
Series three of The Bay saw DS Townsend thrown into the deep end when a body is found in the bay on her first day in the job and with some familiar figures but a brand new crime to be solved.Daragh Carville, the writer and co-creator, said: “We’re always trying to break new ground and tell new kinds of stories.“As we explore another tragedy, we unpick threads and we reveal more and more layers, secrets and lies within the family and within the wider community.
The third season of The Bay focused on the murder of boxer Saif Rahman, whose body washed up on the shore in Morecambe. At the same time, relations between Jenn and Chris become increasingly strained as tensions rise between their respective children. In the meantime, analysis of a photograph of those attending Saif’s funeral raised alarm when Kyle was spotted, as the two were not friends.
