Klein Collins players take the field before the start of their Region II-6A Division 1 area playoff high school football game against Westfield held at Tomball ISD Stadium Friday, Nov. 18, 2022 in Tomball, TX.Preston Hatter finished with three touchdowns, Taki Atkins added two more, including the go-ahead score, and Westfield defeated Klein Collins 41-38 in a Region II-6A Division I area playoff game Friday night at Tomball ISD Stadium.
Klein Collins' Tucker Parks connected with Rodny Ojo and Elijah Boone for touchdowns in the fourth quarter, cutting the deficit to 41-38 with 24 seconds left. But Westfield recovered an onside kick to seal it. Klein Collins responded with a drive that lasted about seven minutes, capped by Parks' 15-yard quarterback keeper to tie the game at 7-7.
First downs by Ethan Wyatt, Parks and Ty Stamey set up first-and-goal for Klein Collins, and Parks scored from 2 yards out to tie it at 14-14 with 7:45 left in the second quarter.
