Drivers can expect a closure of westbound Freeway 91 from Interstate 15 to Lincoln Avenue in Corona starting Friday, part of a project on the corridor.
Drivers heading west through Corona this weekend should consider a new route, or expect significant delays, officials warn.
All westbound lanes of the 91 Freeway will be closed from Interstate 15 to Lincoln Avenue — about a 2-mile stretch in Corona — beginning Friday evening until early Monday,The closure is part of the $12.6-million, working to repave lanes and repair sound walls and other barriers along the highly traveled corridor in Corona. Crews this weekend will be repaving lanes where the roadway has had a history of settlement, officials said.
👉 Heads Up! A full closure of westbound 91 from I-15 to Lincoln Ave is coming this weekend: Friday @ 10 p.m. to Monday @ 4 a.m. I-15 will remain open, but the I-15 connectors to westbound 91 will be fully closed. Avoid delays by using the 60, 57, or 71.
