The Mustangs will play for fifth place Saturday in the D3. Class A tournament.
The West Perry field hockey team bounced back from a quarterfinal loss in the District 3, Class A tournament and defeated ELCO, 3-0, Wednesday in consolation round game.
The victory assures the Mustangs a spot in the PIAA Class A tournament. West Perry will face the winner of the Newport-Annville-Cleona game Saturday for fifth place. Molly Zimmerman opened the scoring for West Perry off a corner play in the second quarter. Madison Bell added a third quarter tally and Jordan Byers connected in the fourth quarter.
