The house of commons is to vote on the potential six-week ban later today
Members of parliament are to vote today on the suspension of Wellingborough MP, Peter Bone, after an independent panel found he was sexually inappropriate and bullied a junior staff member.
Though Bone denies the allegations from his former staffer that he verbally abused him, struck him, and indecently exposed himself to the aide back in 2012-13, the house will vote today on whether to uphold the recommendations made by the parliamentary watchdog. This would then lead to a by-election in the Wellingborough constituency - a Tory stronghold. Peter Bone has held the North Northamptonshire seat for 18 years, since 2005, and won with a 19,000 majority last election.
