Two events happening Saturday are specifically geared toward young people and families to mark Black History Month.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -

At the City of St. Jude, YOUTH for ACTION, The CDMC, and the 9th Episcopal District of the African Methodist Episcopal Church will mark the month with a youth reenactment of the 1965 Civil and Voter Rights March. This event is designed to Engage, Educate, and Empower young people in the community about the history of the Civil Rights Movement and the Voting Rights March and to salute the leaders who sacrificed for equality and justice.
