It may have a new name, but that's all that is new - the staff are the same friendly bunch and the food is still 10/10
There's plenty to look at on Belfast's Lisburn Road - and as a runner training for my first marathon, I am no stranger to that stretch of road.
Greeted by Ciaran and Cassie, the team looked after us from start to finish. We arrived at 3pm and were still there after 6pm! I opted for 'The Capone' - tender chicken, crispy bacon, mushrooms and penne pasta in a creamy white wine sauce topped with parmesan shavings and served with toasted garlic bread. My friend had the 'Peppered Chicken' - pan fried chicken fillets covered with homemade creamy peppered sauce topped with crispy tobacco onions.
Pasta for me, is a real hit or miss dish, because I make it at home each week, it takes a lot to wow me. But the dish at Jude's was perfect, and I would go back just for that pasta alone. It is good to know they allow for takeaways too! Overall, we were really impressed at our sitting in Jude's - and really wanted to check it out to see if it was a new spot, or just a name change.
