People had their say on what they would like to see in the new year
It’s that time of year again when people reflect on the things they would like to improve not just about themselves but also for their city.
We spoke to market stallholder Nawd Rahimi who wanted to see more young people at work and ways to keep women safe on nights out. He wasn’t the only one who complained about the issues with traffic in the city centre. This has become a huge talking point in the past few weeks. Talking about high streets: “If it wasn’t for coffee shops, hairdressers and bookies, it would be empty.”
