According to a recent report, Warner Bros. isn't concerned with TheFlash and FantasticBeasts star Ezra Miller's controversial headlines, as the former is still a ways off and Miller isn't committed for any additional films for the latter.
Warner Bros. is reportedly not eying a return for Ezra Miller in future Fantastic Beasts films, while their DC involvement post-The Flash remains unclear. Since their casting as Barry Allen in October 2014, Miller has been involved with not one but two major Warner Bros. franchises: The Harry Potter universe and the DCEU.
Since the end of March, Miller has faced multiple legal troubles in Hawaii. It began with their arrest on Sunday, March 27 due to disorderly conduct and harassment. The Flash actor was also hit with a restraining order by a Hawaiian couple before the two individuals dropped it by April 12. The restraining order was initially petitioned following Miller breaking into their apartment and threatening their lives before stealing various personal items.
Not only has Warner Bros. declined to comment on any of Miller's arrests, but the actor's representatives have not made any statements either. A few weeks ago, reports floated around that Warner Bros. and DC Films had supposedly held an emergency meeting in light of Miller's multiple legal troubles. Despite the initial report, the studio ended up reaching out to the press to debunk the story about any such meeting having taken place about Miller's DCEU future.
It's hard to tell what Warner Bros. will actually do as this may only be their current state of mind as far as Miller's DC gigs go. Amidst Miller's actions, they came during the final stages of the Warner Bros. Discovery deal, which was just completed this month. Throughout many of Miller's legal stories, fans have been clamoring on social media for Arrowverse's Grant Gustin of The Flash TV show to replace the 29-year-old actor as the film version of the Scarlet Speedster.
