Former Man United striker Wayne Rooney was asked to give his thoughts on some of his former teammates ahead of Saturday's clash with Everton.
Ahead of Saturday lunchtime's clash between United and Everton at Old Trafford, Rooney, who was covering the game as a pundit for TNT Sports, participated in a game hosted by the channel's Jules Breach. Former United defender Rio Ferdinand and Rooney were asked to issue a one-word answer to describe a cluster of former United teammates.
Though their answers on most players differed, Rooney used the same word to describe both Neville and Nani. Neville left United a year after Rooney arrived at Old Trafford, joining Everton in 2005, while Nani arrived in M16 from Sporting Lisbon in 2007. Asked about Neville, Rooney offered the same answer, saying he was "annoying". Ferdinand, however, quipped that he was "boring".
