Watford 10k & 1k Fun Run is back and open for registrations.
The event is returning to support Watford Mencap, a charity providing services ranging from residential homes to learning and leisure courses for around 800 children and adults with learning disabilities.Michelle Hamilton, fundraising manager, said:"We're thrilled to announce the return of the Watford 10k & 1k Fun, supporting the vital work of Watford Mencap."
"This event brings together our community in a celebration of fitness, fun, and philanthropy, and we can't wait to see everyone on the starting line."Registration fees for the 10k race stand at £22, while the 1k Fun Run is priced at £9.Groups of eight or more people can take advantage of a 10 per cent discount.
Running clubs are also eligible for the same discounted entry fees, inclusive of the early bird offer.Participants who register and raise £50 enter a prize draw with a chance to win a family ticket to the Harry Potter Studio Tour.A JustGiving page has been set up to accept donations that will support the charity's essential services, impacting lives in Watford, Three Rivers and Hertsmere.
