Actor Penn Badgley, of the hit Netflix series You, revealed that he requested a large reduction in the number of intimate scenes for his character out of respect for his marriage.
Badgely shared on his podcast Podcrushed that he approached the show's creator and asked,"Can I just do no more intimacy scenes?"“I don’t think I have ever mentioned it publicly, but one of the main things was: Do I want to put myself back on a career path where I’m always the romantic lead?" he said of grappling with taking on certain roles.
Badgely is married to Domino Kirke-Badgley, with whom he shares a child. The two married in 2017 but have been together since 2014.
