WATCH: Footage is going viral of a National Guardsman running to save an immigrant child after it was abandoned at the border and stranded in the middle of the Rio Grande.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents have encountered over 1 million immigrants since the fiscal year began in October 2022, according to Rio Grande Valley Sector Chief Gloria Chavez.
