A second Los Angeles police officer testified during the defamation suit against actress Amber Heard that he did not see evidence of domestic violence at actor Johnny Depp's apartment.
Officers William Gatlin and Tyler Hadden arrived at the Los Angeles penthouse suite Depp shared with Heard on May 21, 2016, after receiving a call from Heard regarding a domestic dispute. In the end, no charges were filed against Depp.
The front desk secretary of Depp's apartment building, Alejandro Romero, shared his testimony via video deposition next. Romero has worked at the Eastern Columbia building for 13 years and testified that he did not see any injuries on Heard around the time of the dispute in 2016. "Most of the time, he's really calm," Romero said."He's a really happy person. This is the first time I saw him like that."
"I just want to be done with it," Romero said. Toward the end, Romero was seen driving his car while fielding questions. Depp snickered at Romero's frustration with the deposition questioning.
