Motorists have been told to drive carefully
Nottinghamshire Police have urged motorists to drive cautiously after a crash on the A617. The force posted a photo showing the aftermath of the collision in Bilsthorpe at 10.30am on Wednesday, August 17.
The image shows two cars, both with substantial damage to their fronts. Police, Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service and East Midlands Ambulance Service were all called to the scene. No injuries were reported. In a tweet, Nottinghamshire Roads Policing Unit advised motorists to be careful driving due to the wet conditions. "Busy start to the day for #Team2," they wrote.
"First RTC of the day on the A617 at Bilsthorpe attended with @EMASNHSTrust and @nottsfire. Thankfully occupants have no injuries. Please be cautious of the road conditions due to the weather from last night!"
