Americano, lattes, filter or espresso - Belfast knows a thing or two about a good coffee, with an abundance of fantastic local cafes and coffee shops across the city to get your caffeine fix.

October 16 to 22 marks National Coffee Week in the UK so we put the question out to our readers as to where their favourite place was in Belfast for a coffee.After receiving hundreds of recommendations in the comments of our post, we have narrowed down the most popular responses to make our top ten in the mission to find Belfast's favourite coffee shop.

Whether you like a coffee and a traybake to go or enjoy taking in the atmosphere of a busy cafe with a flat white as you work, it is clear that Belfast has no shortage of brilliant independent businesses to choose from.
