The University of Houston volleyball team has signed the first team-wide name, image and likeness deal for a women's sport at the school.
The deal announced Sunday is with Ryan Galvez, the franchise owner of My Eyelab locations in the Greater Houston area. As part of the NIL deal, 17 UH student-athletes will each receive $1,000 for autograph signings and appearances at 10 locations.
