Thursday, as it focuses on improving commercial space vehicle performance after a test flagged a possible flaw in materials on its spacecraft. The company will begin an enhancement program, which is expected to last about eight months, that would seek to increase “reliability, durability and reduced maintenance requirements” for its commercial space vehicles VMS Eve and VSS Unity.its first commercial space mission with the Italian Air Force due to a possible manufacturing defect found in a flight control system component. The mission was originally slated for early October at the latest. The company said that issue was resolved.
