A Harrisburg man stabbed his ex-girlfriend on her left side, rupturing her lung, while she lay on a sidewalk outside an Amtrak station in the city, a police detective testified at a Monday hearing.
Jamale Brown, 41, told detectives he wasn’t in the area of the station at the time of the attack but was looking for her in the early morning hours of July 30. He said he heard his ex, Eilanna Burgos, was in a fight with a pregnant woman, police detective Brian Carriere said at the man’s preliminary hearing at Dauphin County Prison.
But Carriere showed the judge a video recording from the Amtrak station taken about 12:30 a.m., showing a man wearing a black durag , black sweatshirt and Nike gym shorts walk toward Burgos, pull an object from his pocket, unfold it and ram it into her side.
