Video from Lewis Capaldi concert shows security removing woman from crowd after fight broke out at AO Arena
Footage from the Lewis Capaldi concert in Manchester shows a woman being forcibly removed by security staff after a fight broke out.
As the musician was singing Hold Me While You Wait, a single from his debut album that reached number four in the UK charts, he noticed a scuffle breaking out in the standing area of the packed-out arena. Holding his hands up to his band and alerting security to the incident he said: "There's a scrap in the middle of the crowd there. Erm, we're gonna have to get them out."
A witness who watched the incident unfold said the woman appeared to take a swipe at one of the security guards and was refusing to move away from the area.
