The rain can increase the spread of potentially deadly bacteria, and moist conditions also create the perfect environment for parasite-ridden slugs and snails. In order to help avoid any illnesses or potentially life-threatening conditions, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and veterinary writer, Dr Sabrina Kong, shared a vital tip with TrustedHousesitters, the Daily Record reports.Dr Kong insisted that pet toys and bowls should not be left outdoors during rain.
